Falcon-1024 Security API
Side-channel claim limit. Nothing on this page claims constant-time behaviour or side-channel resistance for any target: the side-channel harness covers nothing (finding A48) and no measurement exists. The Rust and C cores are designed for constant time and unmeasured; managed runtimes (JIT, GC, bounds checks) make no timing claim. Where this page names constant-time or side-channel techniques, in prose or in code, they are design intent or recommendations, not measured properties.

Overview
Falcon-1024 is a Fast Fourier lattice-based signature scheme providing NIST security level 5 with compact signatures.
- Algorithm Family: NTRU lattice-based signature
- NIST Security Level: Level 5 (256-bit security)
- Key Sizes:
- Public Key: 1793 bytes
- Secret Key: 2305 bytes
- Signature: ~1280 bytes (variable)
- NIST Round: Round 4 candidate
Security Warnings ⚠️
- Floating-Point Free: Implementation avoids floating-point for security
- Variable Signature Size: Signatures have variable length
- Complex Implementation: Requires careful implementation
- Maximum Security: Level 5 post-quantum security
API Functions
Similar to Falcon-512 with level 5 security parameters.
